Brooklands win cliffhanger to reach Grand Finals

Brooklands Primary School, Greenwich, has become the fifth team to reach the Lord’s grand finals of the British Land Kids Cricket League on March 23 – beating Middle Park School off the very last ball of the Greenwich League final.

And Grasmere School, Hackney, soon joined them in the finals with a hard fought 11-run triumph over Barclay School, of Waltham Forest

Greenwich League semi-finals:

Brooklands (41-4) Harvey 9no beat Invicta (40-4) by 2 wkts
Middle Park (37) Ben 2 for 1 beat Mulgrave (35-5) by 2 runs
Final:
Brooklands (54-5) Jamie 13 retd, Aydin 10 beat Middle Park (52-5) Alfie 23no by 1wkt

Hackney and Waltham Forest Leagues play-off:

Grasmere, Hackney, (92-7) beat Barclay, Waltham Forest (81) by 11 runs
