Promotional video launched
A new video has been launched by Capital Kids Cricket to promote its vital work in getting children from London’s inner city schools off the streets and into the game – part of the organisation’s new ‘Teams Not Gangs’ message.
By reaching out to inner city schools, says video narrator England, Surrey & Essex cricketer Alex Tudor, Capital Kids Cricket provides a fantastic platform for children to learn about the game from qualified coaches. By taking part in organised competitions children are able to meet new friends as well as learn about and respect each other, Tudor explains.
Interviews with children taking part in residential festivals, major London competitions and in-school coaching feature alongside the thoughts of teachers, coaches and Derek Underwood, one of England’s greatest-ever spin bowlers and recent MCC president.
