British Land Kids Cricket League
In eight centres across Inner London, Capital Kids launched its biggest-ever British Land Kids Cricket League for primary schools during the week beginning Monday, January 14.
A total of 64 schools have entered the 2008 competition, staged over eight weeks with eight regional finalists qualifying for the grand final day at the MCC Indoor School at Lord’s Cricket Ground on Tuesday, March 11.

Week Five: Lord’s: St Joseph’s 146-2 (Jose 22*, Michael 20*, Hugh 19) beat Hampden Gurney 54-4) by 92 runs; Kentish Town beat Essendine, wo

Hackney: Millfields 72 beat William Patten 54 by 18 runs; Tyssen 63 beat Nightingale 54 by 9 runs

Week Four:
Lord’s: Kentish Town 130-5 (Kitty 40*, Zhane 32, Yusra 3-7) beat Gateway 110-5 (Hassan 45, Abdulla 15) by 20 runs; Brackenbury 119-4 (Harry 20*, Kainan 21*, Arthur 17, Nazar 2-14) beat Hampden Gurney 17 (Arthur 3-5, Charlie 2-6) by 102 runs

Hackney: William Patten 75 beat St John of Jerusalem 50 by 25 runs; Jubilee 126 beat Nightingale 65 by 121 runs
