Young fielders flying into the Spirit of Cricket….
Children from 22 inner London primary and secondary schools again experienced the thrill of playing on the most famous ground in the world when Capital Kids Cricket staged its fourth annual Lord’s Festival in conjunction with MCC.
Each school party of 12 boys and girls toured skill stations devoted to batting, bowling and fielding as well as taking part in mini games and touring the Media Centre and Pavilion.
And best batting and bowling trophies were presented by Keith Bradshaw, chief executive of MCC, and Reg Horne, director of MCC’s Indoor School.
